Our Mommy & Me class is designed to assist parents in the social, physical, intellectual, academic and spiritual development of their child. The one hour class includes movement, music, snack, playtime, craft time, circle time, Jesus time, and a closing.
Three ten week sessions are offered during the school year (September-June). This class includes a caregiver and their child. The participating child must be 14 months old by August 31st.

Our two year old class focuses on helping children develop an excitement for learning while feeling safe and loved. This is done through songs, stories, hands-on play and simple art activities. Bible stories, prayer and lessons about Jesus’ love are woven throughout the day. This class will help the child develop crucial social skills like sharing, taking turns, and cooperating with others. It allows the child to learn how to communicate and express themselves effectively. The structured setting offered helps them follow rules, manage impulses, and engage in positive interactions, developing essential self-regulation skills.
We feel it is crucial to balance structured classes with unstructured playtime, as both are essential for a child's overall development.
The participating child must be 2 years old by August 31st. Children in this classroom do not have to be potty trained.

Our three year old class offers lots of opportunities for this age child to interact with their peers, learn social skills, and develop emotional intelligence. Through these interactions the children learn to share, take turns, cooperate, and resolve conflicts, which are essential for building positive relationships throughout their lives.
This age group is focused on a combination of styles, including both teacher–led learning and independent exploration. These children follow a routine that includes several circle/carpet times, hands–on art projects, building and creating, music and movement, Bible time, and lesson–based imaginative play.
In addition, example–led learning is important as the independence of a child increases, teachers will show how to complete tasks more independently while still providing assistance as needed. This is done through both structured lessons and unstructured play.
For children in our 3 year old class, engaging in a preschool experience sets the stage for a lifetime of learning. It helps to nurture a child's curiosity in the environment around them, helps to create a positive attitude towards learning, and provides a solid foundation for their academic, social, and emotional growth.
This child must be 3 years old by August 31st. Children in this classroom should be working on or fully potty trained.

In our PreK class we focus on school readiness and build skills that will help these children make a smooth transition to Kindergarten.
While in class our children learn to navigate social interactions, cooperate with their peers, and regulate their emotions effectively. This critical stage of development sets the stage for positive relationships and effective communication throughout their lives
In addition to learning how to work through social interactions, we provide activities that promote the development of fine motor skills, such as drawing, cutting, and writing, which are crucial for developing the appropriate muscle strength for handwriting. There are opportunities provided, during the class schedule, for physical play and outdoor activities which also enhance gross motor skills, like balance, coordination, and overall physical development.
Developing independence and self-confidence skills is imperative for the children enrolled in the PreK class. The children learn to make choices, take responsibility for their actions, and accomplish tasks on their own all in a nurturing and loving environment which boosts their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.
Our Pre-K class provides a complete approach to the child’s development, supporting
cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. It lays a strong foundation for academic success, equips them with essential skills, and instills a positive attitude towards learning, setting them up for a bright future and to easily transition to an elementary school environment.
This child must be 4 years old by August 31st. Children in this class should be fully potty trained.

Enrichment class(es) are available for all of our age groups. This class allows for the children to come one or two extra days during the week, depending on the age group.
These classes will provide the child with an opportunity to learn more in depth information about each topic/theme that is explored weekly in our curriculum. The children will make their own snack each class day through a group cooking lesson, discover new things while participating in a science lesson meant to develop curiosity, problem solving skills, and a love for learning and, finally, create their own artwork. In addition, the children will learn more about Jesus through bible lessons and worship music.
The 2 and 3 year olds are offered one additional enrichment day a week. While the 4-5 (PreK) children are offered two, three and five days a week. They follow the same age guidelines as the core preschool classes.
Classes We Offer
Weekly Themes
Our curriculum is based on weekly themes which organize our classroom learning and spark a child’s curiosity about the world. Each theme is explored through a variety of hands-on experiences including stories, art, science exploration, music, movement and play-based learning.
Each week we explore a new theme that helps children discover more about the world around them. Themes may include topics such as - Apples, Bats/Spiders, Nursery Rhymes, Christmas, Snow/Winter, Love, Easter, Mother’s Day and Ice Cream. Weekly themes help build vocabulary, encourage curiosity and connect learning across different subjects.
Our themes follow a three year rotation, with additions or changes made when deemed appropriate to best support the curriculum.
Faith Based
Our faith based curriculum blends Christian teachings with developmentally appropriate preschool learning. Students are introduced to Old & New Testament bible stories, prayer, worship, music and simple scripture that teaches God’s love, compassion and caring for others.
We also offer opportunities for children to learn about giving to those who may be less fortunate than ourselves. Each month in conjunction with one of our themes, the preschool chooses a non-profit organization with which to share the offerings we have collected. This act of sharing what we have, helps the children understand the idea of giving to those in need.
Our Curriculum
Academics
Our academic program introduces children to early learning concepts in a fun, engaging and age appropriate way. Children explore letters, numbers, science and problem-solving through hands-on engaging activities while at the same time reinforcing biblical values such as kindness, gratitude and respect for others. The staff guide our children and help to nurture both the heart and the mind, preparing children for school and life.
Play Based Learning
Our preschool also allows for lots of opportunities to learn through play based activities. Children can explore, create, imagine and discover in ways that are natural and meaningful to them. Activities provided include building, dramatic play, art, puzzles and hands-on exploration. Through play-based learning children develop important skills in problem-solving, language, creativity and cooperation.
